Australian duo The Survivor and Dead Kids on Indicator UHD & Blu-ray in March

In March of 2026, Indicator will be presenting the next two instalments in its series of Ozploitation classics, newly restored in 4K HDR and released in both UHD and Blu-ray editions. These will consist of director David Hemmings’ adaptation of James Herbert’s novel The Survivor, and director Michael Laughlin’s darkly comic blend of horror and science fiction, Dead Kids. Robert Powell (Harlequin), Jenny Agutter (Walkabout), and Joseph Cotten (Island of the Fishmen) star in The Survivor, a terrifying tale of supernatural horror from director David Hemmings (Voices).

When pilot David Keller (Powell) is the sole survivor of a plane crash, he begins to experience terrifying visions. Assisted by a clairvoyant (Agutter) who claims to have contacted the crash victims, Keller starts to investigate the cause of the accident, only to find that those who can help him keep turning up dead…

Based on the novel by the celebrated horror writer James Herbert (The Rats, The Fog, Fluke), scripted by David Ambrose (Alternative 3), and produced by the legendary Antony I Ginnane (Patrick), The Survivor is a classic of Ozploitation horror.

In a small midwestern town, police chief John Brady (Murphy) investigates a bizarre series of murders. As the corpses pile up, all signs point to the hellish mind-control experiments of a twisted scientist…
