UNDERWORLD (UK 1985)
Limited Edition 4K UHD | 7 September 2026 | £29.99
From the mind of horror legend Clive Barker, director of Hellraiser and Nightbreed, comes Underworld, a chilling exploration of human transformation and the price of ambition.
Beneath the city lies a secret world inhabited by mutants addicted to a terrifying new drug created by the mysterious Dr Savary (Denholm Elliott). Their only hope of salvation lies in Nicole (Nicola Cowper), forced to work in a high-class brothel by Savary but, for reasons unknown, unaffected by the drug’s mutations. When the mutants kidnap Nicole, private investigator Roy Bain (Larry Lamb) is hired by the brothel’s owner (Steven Berkoff) to bring her home. But, as he descends deeper into the subterranean labyrinth, what starts as a rescue mission soon spirals into a frantic battle for survival.
Blending noir sensibilities with extreme body horror, this atmospheric thriller – released in the US as Transmutations – offers an intriguing glimpse into Barker’s early cinematic explorations of transformation and the grotesque. Now restored in vivid 4K, this Limited Edition includes both the theatrical cut and a longer, extended cut, compiled from the best known sources.

NIGHT FALLS ON MANHATTAN (USA 1996)
Limited Edition Blu-ray | 14 September 2026 | £24.99
In a career that includes such award-winning masterpieces as Serpico, Prince of the City and The Verdict, director Sidney Lumet has cross-examined the fine line between those who enforce the law and those who exploit it, both in the courtroom and on the streets. Adapting a novel by former NYPD officer Robert Daley (Year of the Dragon), Lumet once again exposes the corrupt underbelly of the city that never sleeps in Night Falls on Manhattan.
Sean Casey (Andy Garcia) is an assistant district attorney and a rising star in the New York City legal system. He is forced into a tough position when his ambitious boss, seeking re-election, asks Sean to prosecute a drug dealer caught by two NYPD detectives under controversial circumstances – one of whom happens to be Sean’s father (Ian Holm). As Sean gets closer to the truth in the case, what he uncovers may break his faith in the legal system, threaten his promising career and tear his family apart.
Boasting a powerhouse supporting cast including Lena Olin, Richard Dreyfuss and James Gandolfini, this underrated entry in Lumet’s canon of crime classics can be freshly reappraised with a stunning restoration and illuminating bonus features.

Three escaped cons, led by the ruthless Glenn Griffin (Bogart), force their way into a suburban home, intending to hide out while they await the arrival of an all-important package. WICKED PRIEST COLLECTION (Japan 1968-1971)
Limited Edition Blu-ray | 14 September 2026 | £29.99
Most famous for his role as the stoic Ogami Itto in the legendary Lone Wolf and Cub series, Tomisaburo Wakayama shows a different side in the ebullient martial arts comedy series Wicked Priest, where a devout man of the cloth doesn’t let a little thing like his vows keep him away from women, booze and brawls!
Wakayama plays Shinkai, a Buddhist monk with a penchant for drinking and gambling, setting sinners straight with judo throws rather than sermons. In the first film, he’s placed on probation for fighting off a gang of thugs, but when he hears of rogue priests in his order consorting with yakuza, he returns to punch them towards enlightenment. The first sequel sees Shinkai run afoul of local mobsters who then hire his nemesis, the Zatoichi-inspired fighting monk Ryotatsu (Bunta Sugawara, Battles Without Honor and Humanity), hellbent on revenge against Shinkai for blinding him. In the third film, Shinkai joins the fight to defend a coastal village against pirate revolutionaries, whilst still finding the time for bawdy misadventures and fighting off the tenacious Ryotatsu. Shinkai returns to his snowy hometown for his mother’s memorial in the fourth film and is shocked to discover his childhood friend has become a ruthless yakuza, and must encourage the local community to fight back against his gang. Finally, Shinkai must face off against the vengeful Ryotatsu one last time in the series’ thrilling concluding installment.
Wakayama shines as the rascally Shinkai whose roguish ways attract the ire of his superiors before they’re won over by his righteousness and affinity for roundhouse-kicking ruffians. A thrilling blend of raunchy humour and explosive karate fights, the Wicked Priest series is the nirvana of Japanese 60s action comedy!

TEQUILA SUNRISE (USA 1988)
Limited Edition 4K UHD | Limited Edition Blu-ray | 14 September 2026 | £29.99 (UHD), £24.99 (Blu-ray)
In 1974 Robert Towne wrote Chinatown, the film that redefined film noir for a new generation with its peerless portrayal of corruption in pre-war Los Angeles. Fourteen years later, he returned to the genre as writer and director with Tequila Sunrise, bringing a distinctly 80s flair to this Casablanca-inspired neo-noir.
Dale McKussic (Mel Gibson) and Nick Frescia (Kurt Russell) are two close friends separated by a legal divide. While Dale is a former drug dealer trying to shake the shackles of his past, Nick is a detective investigating a Mexican kingpin smuggling cocaine. Their contrasting loyalties are brought to a head through a shared romantic interest in restaurateur JoAnn (Michelle Pfeiffer) – an attraction that unknowingly drives their friendship toward insurmountable strain.
See Kurt Russell, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Mel Gibson light up the screen at the peak of their powers, all set against the pristine warmth of the Californian sun and masterfully shot by Conrad Hall (American Beauty).

MISERY (USA 1990)
Limited Edition 4K UHD | Limited Edition Blu-ray | 21 September 2026 | £29.99 (UHD), £24.99 (Blu-ray)
From director Rob Reiner (Stand By Me, A Few Good Men) and screenwriter William Goldman (Marathon Man, All the President’s Men) comes Misery, a terrifying thriller based on the bestseller by Stephen King.
Caught in a snowstorm, bestselling romantic novelist Paul Sheldon (James Caan) suffers a horrific car accident but is rescued by former nurse Annie Wilkes (Kathy Bates). With the phone lines down and the roads out of use for the winter, Annie – who happens to be Paul’s “number one fan” – takes him home, sets his broken legs and tends him back to health. But fandom turns shockingly violent when Annie learns that Paul is moving on from the romance novels that made his name. Now trapped and at Annie’s mercy, Paul must write like his life depends on it… because it really does.
Bates (in an Academy Award-winning performance) and Caan are outstanding and are matched by a pitch-perfect supporting cast that includes Lauren Bacall, Richard Farnsworth and Frances Sternhagen. Reiner takes an unexpected turn to the darker side and proves himself an adept disciple of Alfred Hitchcock as he delivers shocks and suspense worthy of the master.

Limited Edition 4K UHD | Limited Edition Blu-ray | 28 September 2026 | £49.99 (UHD), £44.99 (Blu-ray)
In 1986, a chance encounter between producer Tsui Hark and director John Woo led both men to collaborate on the revolutionary A Better Tomorrow [Ying hung boon sik], an unexpected smash hit that spawned sequels, remakes and legions of imitators, gave birth to a new genre – the “heroic bloodshed” film – and firmly established Woo as a master of action cinema.
In the first film, money-launderer Ho (Ti Lung) keeps his criminal endeavours a secret from his younger brother, police officer Kit (Leslie Cheung); but when Ho and his loyal friend Mark (Chow Yun-Fat in an effortlessly cool breakthrough performance) turn the tables on their triad boss, the brothers must put aside their differences to defeat the gang once and for all. Woo and his cast return for the sequel, A Better Tomorrow II [Ying hung boon sik II], in which the brothers unite to bring down another gang and save Ho’s former mentor from droves of hitmen, presented in its original theatrical cut and the recently unearthed workprint cut. Finally, Tsui’s prequel, A Better Tomorrow III: Love & Death in Saigon [Ying hung boon sik III: Zik yeung ji gor], focuses on Mark’s past during the final days of the Vietnam War, laying the foundations of the gangster he will become.
